There he worked on big brands like HP, Discover Card, E*Trade, Pac Bell, Isuzu, and Polaroid. Rey Godoy 3b.jpg

REY GODOY

PRODUCER + DIREctor of business development

Nothing gets by Rey. A plan for every contingency. Hits every single project milestone. The one time he was over budget, he wrote a resignation letter on the spot. The request was turned down, yet, still, as a reminder, he carries with him what he scribbled out while we talked him down. How then within his iron-fisted leadership domain does Rey also create space for artistry to thrive? We don’t know. But flourish it does, and the best talent loves collaborating with him—appreciates his steadiness, positivity, and confidence. Coming from project management in the fast-paced multi-billion dollar online auction industry, Rey has found a home in commercial production for his operational strengths and fifteen years of experience as an independent, award-winning narrative filmmaker. He gives back to his community by serving as a board member with Bay Area Digital Arts.

Ultimately, he served in a staff position at a digital agency—Rise Media. Since joining forces with SeaGlass Productions, Michael has collaborated on projects for clients such consumer- and professional product-giant Clorox, hardware startup Immotor, and the non-profit Center for Divorce Education.

OQ

STAFF PHOTOGRAPHER

OQ aims, shoots, and strikes the emotional core of her subjects. Her lens serves as a microscope for peering into the atomic structure of the heart and soul. She approaches photography as a craft. She loves the physical mechanics of the camera and the underlying digital technology. As a hands-on director, she’s unabashed about getting her knees, elbows, and hands dirty to capture the right shot. Born and raised in Moscow, OQ received a public education centered around the classical arts, and, specifically, was trained as a concert cellist. She played bass guitar in an underground punk-rock band called The 32nd of December. She left Russia following crackdowns on student protests in 2009. In her corporate brand work, she focuses on authentically expressing a client’s brand voice and persona through its product photography.
